Priority Health plans again earn 5-star rating
Priority Health Medicare Advantage plans have received an Excellent quality rating for the second year in a row.
(Sep. 18, 2009) - According to the newest "Medicare and You" handbook published by the national Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Priority Health Medicare Advantage plans have received a 5-star (excellent) quality rating for the second year in a row. Plans were rated for quality of care by Medicare plan members across the U.S. by the 2009 Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, which was created by the federal Department of Health and Human Services.
In 2008, Priority Health Medicare Advantage plans were the only 5-star rated plans in Michigan.
